Clean water changes absolutely everything. It is health, education, and economic freedom. We deliver sustainable, community-led water infrastructure to families left behind.

While wonderful global charities like charity: water do incredible work around the world, they do not build projects here in Sri Lanka. Because of this, thousands of families living in remote, dry countryside zones are completely cut off from international aid networks.
That is exactly why giveadrop. was started. We step in where big organizations don't, building clean, lasting water systems directly for the rural villages that need them most. We rely entirely on independent donors like you to bring clean water to these families.
Joint tracking indicators show under forty percent of remote populations currently enjoy a consistently clean, safely managed running source available on their household premises.
Inland agricultural sectors face massive safety hazards, with an overwhelming portion of open canals tracking heavy bacterial clusters or toxic chemical runoff.
Nearly three-quarters of the island geography spans the vulnerable climate dry zone, generating acute regional seasonal droughts for families.
We believe public charity should be completely clear. We split our finances into two completely separate systems to protect your trust, and then **we provide absolute proof**.
Every single penny given by the public maps directly to field components. This covers heavy deep-bore machinery rentals, physical PVC pipelines, local construction labor wages, solar pumping grids, and physical filtration filters.
All administrative, marketing, and processing costs are entirely paid out-of-pocket. This includes digital software infrastructure keys, credit card transactional processing surcharges, Vercel cloud web hosting accounts, and workspace logistics.
Every Dollar Accounted For. Every Well Verified.
Once an infrastructure build is complete, we map and document the grid. Every contributor receives precise GPS coordinates and raw photos confirming the engineering installation.
Every project is engineered for long-term reliability and fully managed by the local community.

Connecting remote homes to an elevated safe water storage and filtration grid.

Implementing central water purification hardware to combat heavy chemical contamination.

A sustainable, gravity-fed water system feeding crystal clear water down to mountain families.

Nearly 1 in 10 people worldwide live without access to clean water. Most live in isolated rural areas, spending hours walking everyday just to collect water that makes their families sick. When infrastructure is built, the entire trajectory of a community transforms overnight.
Contaminated wells carry preventable diseases that burden isolated villages. Safe, community-led filtration networks immediately protect families and preserve child wellness.
In rural regions, family members shoulder the physical weight of searching for water. Local infrastructure returns thousands of collective hours, enabling women to farm, work, and build micro-commerce.
Instead of spending critical morning hours hauling heavy buckets over grueling miles, children spend their days exactly where they belong: sitting in clean local classrooms learning.
Currently, no. giveadrop. is a fast-growing UK non-profit initiative operating strictly under the formal Charity Commission income threshold. Because of this, we cannot currently process UK Gift Aid or offer international tax receipts. However, our 100% model guarantees your entire donation goes directly into the ground.
We run two entirely separate bank accounts. Public donations go into our 'Water Fund' which only pays for raw materials, machinery, and local labor. All of our operational overhead (website hosting, marketing, travel) is paid for out-of-pocket by our founders and private sponsors through an 'Operations Fund'.
We do not guess from thousands of miles away. We partner directly with local Sri Lankan community leaders, regional engineers, and ground tracking data to identify deep-inland dry zones that have been completely bypassed by major international aid networks.
Absolutely. We regularly partner with families, businesses, and private sponsors to fund entire pipeline grids or purification hubs. You will receive a dedicated plaque, precise GPS coordinates, and raw field photography of your completed project. Reach out to us at info@giveadrop.org to start the conversation.
